About the team
We are a multidisciplinary team, with expertise in spatial analysis, architecture, engineering, environmental and above all sustainability, hoping to contribute to a sustainable future for all based on our project with Brangladesh as the study area. Such as the rainfall brings hope for the people during the "Borsha" season, we expect that our contribution can encourage a new world to be created.
Our vision for nature-positive future for Bangladesh
Bangladesh, including the region of Chattogram, confronts numerous challenges yet possesses substantial potential for economic, environmental, and social advancement. It stands poised to serve as a global exemplar, demonstrating how nations can surmount obstacles and elevate the quality of life for their citizens through innovative approaches. Embracing strategies that safeguard biodiversity, preserve natural resources, and promote equitable income distribution is paramount. Moreover, Bangladesh has a pivotal role to play in combating climate change, safeguarding the planet for future generations of all life forms.
Our choices for a specific region
Bangladesh is divided into 8 divisions, which is the first-level administrative division of the country. Chattogram division was selected as our study area because of its unique history and geography, current economy, social issues and environmental conditions. This division has a potential for further economic, agricultural, and environmental growth in a sustainable way, following green transition at its core. Therefore, Chattogram division demands more focus and in-depth research for its development. So we chose to subdivide the region into four zones to deepen the analysis of the different activities and economic situations in each region and think about ways to promote sustainable transitions while respecting local specificities with solutions encompassing energy, biodiversity, water, food, economy and urbanization.
